Abraham’s Tent is proud to offer Sharmallison Scholarships to fund college tuition for eligible students in the U.S. and Guyana.

Education: The Foundation of a Progressive Society

Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and succeed in their passion. We at Abraham’s Tent are dedicated to ensuring this possibility.

Padmanee Sharma, MD, PhD and her family began working on Abraham’s Tent in 2016. Dr. Sharma was born and raised in Guyana until the age of 10, when she emigrated with her parents and sibling to the United States. Dr. Sharma knows that an education is critical for escaping poverty and building a successful life. She and her family are dedicated to providing an education for children in the U.S. and Guyana.

Dr. Sharma and her husband, Dr. James Allison, recently launched the Sharmallison Scholarship Program under Abraham's Tent to provide funding for higher education for economically disadvantaged students in Guyana and the United States.
